Bushcraft Day - 10th May 2026

Step into the wild for a day of outdoor skills, nature adventures, and hands-on fun!

Join us at Blackland Farm for an exciting Bushcraft Day, where Brownies and Guides will learn how to thrive in the great outdoors. From fire-lighting to shelter building, this is the perfect chance to explore nature, build confidence, and develop practical survival skills — all in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment.

What’s in store:
Build your own natural shelter
Learn how to safely light and use a campfire
Cook a snack over the flames
Try your hand at nature crafts and tracking
Take part in fun bushcraft challenges and teamwork games

This hands-on day will inspire adventure, build new skills, and connect you to the outdoors in a whole new way!

The day will run from 10am to 4pm.  Bring a packed lunch, hot drinks will be provided for leaders.  The cost is £34.00 per girl, leaders are free.  All activities and a badge are included in the fee.
