Open Gold Qualifying Expedition (29th July - 1st August 2027)

This four-day Gold DofE qualifying expedition takes place from Thursday 29 – Sunday 1 August 2027 at Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre.

The qualifying expedition is the opportunity for participants to demonstrate the skills they have developed during their Gold DofE training and practice expedition. Participants will navigate as a team, carry their own expedition equipment and camp overnight, completing their expedition route under qualifying conditions.

Pre-requisite:
Participants must have completed a Gold DofE practice expedition before attending this course and must be able to provide evidence of completion. This could include a DofE expedition record, confirmation from their DofE Leader or other suitable evidence. Participants who have not completed a Gold practice expedition should book the Gold practice and qualifying expeditions back-to-back.
