Open Silver Back-to-Back Practice + Qualifying Expedition (26-31st July 2027)

This six-day Silver DofE expedition package combines a three-day practice expedition with a three-day qualifying expedition, taking place from Monday 26 – Saturday 31 July 2027 at Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre, RH19 4HP.

The course is designed for participants who want to complete their Silver practice and qualifying expeditions back-to-back.

The practice expedition runs from Monday 26 – Wednesday 28 July, giving participants the opportunity to develop their expedition skills, build confidence and put their navigation, route planning, campcraft and teamwork skills into practice.

Following the practice expedition, the qualifying expedition runs from Thursday 29 – Saturday 31 July, during which participants will complete their assessed expedition under qualifying conditions.

Practice and Qualfying Expeditions can also be booked separately should you only need to complete one.

Accommodation between the expeditions:
Accommodation at Blackland Farm can be provided on the evening of Wednesday 28 July, allowing participants to remain onsite between the practice and qualifying expeditions. This means there is no need to travel home and return the following morning. Participants will have time to rest, repack and prepare for their qualifying expedition.
